Mission
Capital Health Advocates and Capital House Calls were founded by Dr. Amy Schiffman, a Board-certified Emergency Physician based in Bethesda, Maryland.

These transformational health and wellness organizations are an expression of her passion for health advocacy, patient empowerment and the reincarnation of the patient-physician relationship. Her team will provide every client or patient whether for workplace wellness, advocacy or medical services, timely and exemplary guidance, care, and service.

Capital Health Advocates and Capital House Calls provide a broad-range of medical and advocacy services that cater to the specific needs of every patient or client. Dr. Schiffman knows that not everyone has the benefit of a doctor in the family, and not everyone can always reach their physician. Her team is there to fill that gap - in case of every day medical needs, medical crisis support and customizable health services. The health and medical system can be complicated – so for her clients and their families, she simplifies health.

Dr. Schiffman and her team are experts at navigating the health system. Her team is adept at quickly understanding complicated medical problems, bridging gaps between physicians and patients, and simplifying medical issues for patients and other medical professionals.
